"I joined the Office of the Chief Economist and Competition Policy at the Office of Fair Trading right after graduation from the Barcelona GSE. I worked there for two months before moving to the group where I am now, which is called Service, Infrastructure and Public Markets. As an Economic Intern, my role is to support a team of economists and lawyers, collecting and providing evidence to corroborate and make their decisions coherent with economic theory and the current legislation." "My work involves econometric analysis to support companies during their merger process, advising companies against a complaint of anti-competitive practices in the competition authority, or any case related to competition policy. We also have to deal with theoretical issues advising regulated-industry companies (such as electricity) during public consultations. I was hired right after graduating from the master program - the highly practical focus of the program gave me good knowledge to perform this type of challenging analysis." Eye on Alumni Feature

"I advise multinational companies on transfer pricing documentation according to the specific legislation of each country (I have a wide experience on Latin American issues), foreign trade and financial restructurings and help companies develop a suitable tax planning of their transfer prices. I have a strong track record in delivering large scale, multi-jurisdictional project solutions and I have extensive international transfer pricing experience. I have worked with Big 4 firm in two countries and I have a deep network of contacts the world over."

"I currently work in the Chief Economist team of DG Competition at the European Commission in Brussels. I am very much enjoying the job. On a daily basis, I develop arguments based on solid economic theory and I carry out analyses in relation to antitrust cases."
